Pujols, one of the most beautiful villages of France
Important fortified town and fief of the heretics, destroyed during the war of albigeois then reconstructed, Pujols crossed the disordersof the history, from the One hundred years war till the Revolution by protecting a big part of its architectural heritage of the XIIIth century. Still surrounded partially with ramparts, the village opens by a passage under the tower-bell of the former seigneurial chapel St Nicolas. On the place, in front of the hall market built in the XIXth century with materials resulting from the former church St Jean, draws up beautiful houses with half-timbering. We can also admire old roofs, a well, two strengthened doors and a part of the castle. Do not miss to visit the church Ste Foy decorated with frescoes of the XVth century,
as well as the exhibition

From 7 till 19 August 2008
