Laszlo Mindszenti dans "Les Affiches de Normandie"

Hongrois de naissance et Rouennais d'adoption, Laszlo Mindszenti a choisi de célébrer la nature où il puise l'essence même de son inspiration. En 1998, il exposait ses oeuvres au Parlement Européen à Bruxelles. En 2004 , il était l'hôte de l'Institut français de Budapest. De retour à la galerie Rollin, à laquelle il reste attaché, il dévoile ses peintures récentes et celles de Kristina, sa compagne, dont le style lumineux est imprégné de mysticisme.
Parallèlement à cette exposition, une seconde manifestation rend hommage aux deux artistes à l'Abbaye St-Georges-de-Boscherville, à travers une cinquantaine de tableaux. Une double occasion de découvrier un univers original et généreux.

Laszlo n'avait guère que 22 ans quand il posa, pour la première fois, les pieds en France. Contraint à s'exiler lorsque les soviétiques réprimèrent, sans état d'âme, l'insurrection de Budapest (1956), il reprit vaillamment ses études universitaires dans la langue du pays d'accueil. En 1960, Laszlo s'inscrit à l'école des Beaux-arts de Rouen, sa seconde patrie. C'est dans cette ville, chère à son coeur, qu'il allait créer son "Académie Libre de peinture et de Dessin", atelier unique en son genre et dont il fut le stimulant animateur de 1961 à 1975. En 1965, il obtint sa licence ès-lettres modernes à la Sorbonne, épisode dont il reste fier. A la fois peintre et poète - l'un de ses livres "Poèmes de jade, poèmes de jadis", fut, rappelons-le, primé par l'Académie des Arts - Mindszenti est un homme de culture qui connaît le tréfonds de l'âme humaine et s'est toujours appliqué à célébrer la nature et la vie, qui est pour lui un don sacré. Sa peinture est un hymne à la beauté, à l'harmonie et, oserons-nous le dire, la danse perpétuelle du cosmos. C'est en vain qu'on y chercherait le moindre signe  morbide ou dévastateur. Toute en courbes et en énergie, elle ressemble à un ballet, un opéra céleste, un spectacle édifiant pour l'esprit. L'homme et la femme y côtoient les oiseaux et les anges, qui ne sont que les figures de l'être délivré des limitations terrestres.
Les titres de Mindszenti sont éloquents de poèsie : "Douceur printanière", "Le sourire des sages", "Les fables du soleil levant", "Carnaval des neiges", "L'annonce faite à l'automne", "Le voyage terrestre", "La cathédrale des temps oubliés"...
Parmi ces toiles récentes, apparaissent quelquefois des oeuvres plus inquiètes ou ébouriffées comme "La nuit des magiciens", ou "Les vents sauvages". On découvre aussi de belles audaces chromatiques. "La grande coquette", alerte symphonie de verts, en est un merveilleux exemple. Quant à "La voix des lointains", la grande toile bleue qui occupe le fond de la galerie, c'est une oeuvre essentielle, suspendue entre azur et eau. La couleur, à laquelle Mindszenti, soucieux d'harmonie, porte sans cesse un très grand soin, épouse la légèreté du mond floral. Elle se fait délicate, poudreuse, enchanteresse et porteuse de paix.

L'univers de Kristina Mindszenti, qui fut sa compagne de tous les instants, n'est pas moins passionnant à découvrir. Rejoignant la pureté des images de l'enfance, sa peinture, aux allures d'enluminure, célèbre la vie. Imprégnée de mysticisme et de généreuse compassion, elle nous offre une vision radieuse du monde vivant où tout, symboliquement, est relié au souffle divin : "Le feu sacré", "Le don de la vie" (entre le boeuf et l'âne), "Le voyage des anges", "farandole", "Un matin de bonheur", sont autant de pages délicieuses qui emplissent le coeur de lumière. Proche quelquefois de l'art naïf, Kristina Mindszenti prolonge la magie suscitée par Laszlo.

Born Hungarian and Rouennais of adoption, Laszlo Mindszenti chose to celebrate nature where he scoops out the essence of his inspiration. In 1998, he displayed his painting to the Parliament European in Brussels. In 2004, he was the guest of the French Institute of Budapest. Back in the gallery Rollin, which he remains tied, he reveals his recent painting and those of Kristina, his wife of that the biological bright style impregnated with mysticism.

At the same time as this exhibition, a second demonstration pays tribute pictures to both artists in the Abbey St-Georges-de-Boscherville, across about fifty. A double opportunity of découvrier an original and generous world.

Laszlo was only 22 years old when he put down feet, for the first time, in France. Forced to go into exile when the Soviets suppressed, without state of soul, the insurrection of Budapest (1956), he took back his university studies valiantly in the language of the country of reception. In 1960, Laszlo registers in the school of the Fine arts of Rouen, the second fatherland. It estdans this city, dear to the heart, which he was going to create her " Academy Free of painting and  Drawing ", most unusual workshop and the stimulant of which it was animator from 1961 till 1975. In 1965, he acquired a licence modern ès-letters in the Sorbonne, episode of which he remains proud. At the same time painter and poet - one of his books " Poems of nephrite, poems of in the past ", was, let us remind of it, prevailed by the Academy of Arts - Mindszenti is a man  of culture which knows the depths of human soul and is always applied to celebrate nature and life, that is for him a sacred donation. His painting is a hymn in beauty, in harmony and, we shall dare to say it,  the perpetual dance of the universe. Is for nothing that they would search the slightest sign mobide there or destructive. Very in curves and in energy, it resembles a ballet, a celestial opera, a show building for mind. The man and the woman are next there to birds and the angels, which are only the faces of the being issued from limitations of the Earth.

The titles of Mindszenti are eloquent of poetry : " Spring Softness ", " The smile of the sages ", " The fables of the rising sun ", " Carnival of snows ", " The announcement made in autumn ", trip of the Earth ", " cathedral of forgotten time "... Among these recent clothes, sometimes appear more anxious or tousled writings as " The night of the magicians ", or " The wild winds ". We also discover nice chromatic boldness. " The big pretty ", alerts symphony of greens, is a marvellous example. As for " The voice of the distant ", the big blue painting which occupies the bottom of the gallery,  is an essential work, suspended between azure and water. Colour, in who Mindszenti, anxious about harmony, carries a very big care continuously, marries the lightness of the flower mond. It makes delicate, dusty, enchantress and holder of peace.

The world of Kristina Mindszenti, which was his companion every instant, is not less exciting to discover. Joining the purity of pictures of childhood, her painting, in the paces of illumination, celebrates life. Impregnated with mysticism and with generous commiseration, she gives us a glorious vision of the living world where everything, symbolically, is linked up with divine breath: Sacred fire ", " donation of life " (between beef and donkey), " The trip of the angels ", "farandole", " A morning of happiness ", are so many delightful pages which fill the heart of light. Near sometimes to naïve art, Kristina Mindszenti extends the magic provoked by Laszlo.
